What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a disease characterized by profound fatigue, sleep abnormalities, pain, and other symptoms that are made worse by exertion. The main symptom is fatigue for over six months. The fatigue often worsens with activity, but doesn't improve with rest.Treatments include graded exercise therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Other medications or therapies may provide symptom relief.
